I bought a 1999 Subaru Impreza L Wagon from Dwayne Lane’s Skagit Subaru in Burlington, WA, sold by one of their employees, Zach Barczyszyn. He claimed the car had no leaks. The first night I drove it home, it rained, and I woke up to a giant puddle in the back seat and completely soaked carpet. Looking for a little advice, so my daughter purchased a used 2022 Subaru Forester from Faulkner last Saturday that left her sit on the fourth day of owning it. Faulkner had it towed to their dealership here in Harrisburg and after inspecting, claims that something chewed through some electrical wires, which would have happened over her lunch hour and want her to pay $1500 out of pocket for repairs. Very poor business tactics. For the first time in my life I bought a new car while still having a loan on another, bad business. Oh the new loan came through in a jiffy, but payoff on the old loan could take up to a month to be completed. So 2 car payments in a month, interest lost on recent payment on the old loan, and I was told to just wait and the payment would be returned in a month…..of course minus the interest I would have made if the money was in my account. On 9/11 I arrived at the service dept having been in an honor guard and was treated like I was one of the heroes of 9/11. My car was back in running order in no time, after another mechanic told me that the car needed expensive and extensive repairs. I typically don't write bad reviews on companies, but they have given me no choice. I would not ever buy another car from them again. I paid off my car early and wanted to cancel my warranty. it has taken over 8 weeks and no refund yet. Every time I call the finance department or manager, they didn't response, so I had to call back more than anyone has time too.
