My wife came in today and was racially profiled. She wanted to see a gold Cuban link chain and was told she needed to give them her ID for them to hold onto while browsing. They then stated that ALL jewellery stores have this policy which is a complete lie.
My mother went in there and bought a necklace and earring set and five days later the chain broke she went back in to get a new chain, and the sales associate that was working had insinuated that she had pulled the chain and broke it. She ended up having to pay five dollars plus tax for a new chain when it should not have costed anything and it should’ve been a straight exchange.
