I was disappointed with my experience contacting Dr. Hait’s office regarding my health. When I called, the secretary stated there was nothing abnormal in my bloodwork despite my positive histone antibody test, which prompted my referral and follow-up appointments. She appeared to have limited understanding of autoimmune conditions like drug-induced lupus and the associated risks. To see such negative reviews for Dr. Hait shocks and saddens me!!! I've been seeing Dr. Hait since I was 14 years old and I am now 25. He is by far the best doctor I've had in my life. I came to Dr. Hait confused, sicker than I've ever been, and terrified. Dr. Hait was attentive, caring, and informative for me and my family. Before Dr. Hait, I saw 13 different doctors and none of them knew how to help me. By far my worst experience has been with Dr. Hait and his staff. Dr. Hait gave me a 30 day sample of Rinvoq to take for rheumatoid arthritis before checking to see if it was covered by my insurance. I called the office to let them know that I still didn’t hear from my pharmacy about Rinvoq and I only had 2 more pills left. His secretary, Helena was very rude and unprofessional.
