Like many people here, I have been a patient of Dr. Nazario over 20 years. There’s a reason we all keep going to her! She listens so well, never acts rushed, gives great advice. What is astonishing is that the wait times are never long, despite the time she spends with each patient!!
He treated my father poorly after he screwed up a heart ablation procedure that ended up paralyzing the right diaphragm which kept him from being able to exhale carbon dioxide. He treated my dad as a number and not a human!
I’m not quick to leave negative reviews, but this this guy was horrendous. My husband went in for a variety of concerns that Reddig fundamentally said were too vague to truly help. He snickered to himself throughout. He trivialized our concerns. He mocked our explanation of symptoms. At one point, I asked if a medication had any side effects we should know about and he said all of the side effects “were secrets”. Doesn't listen to his patients (at least me). Any time I tried to talk or ask questions, he would cut me off thinking he already knew what I was going to say. He performed a bunch of tests, gave one prescription, and said it would take a long time to get over it but that there was not much else we could do but wait. I eventually went to another doctor in his practice who discovered a host of issues including C-diff and five overgrowths of bacteria in my colon that needed to be treated. I just joined the BC/BS SpiraCare network, have only had one visit so far with Dr. Patel at the Olathe SpiraCare clinic, and was very happy with it. She did none of the things that some of the negative reviews say, and everything from the positive reviews: she listens well, she is open, and was respectful of both my personal experience and what I had read regarding a chronic condition. One of the very best Doctors I have ever visited. Intelligent and compassionate, and explains things clearly. I never felt rushed by him and he accurately diagnosed my problem and gave amazing care. I saw him at Menorah and followup was in his Leawood/Overland Park office. Let me add the office is beautiful, impeccably clean and organized, and the staff was kind and helpful.
Treats you and talks to you on your level. Not like a medical encyclopedia. Takes time to make sure you know what is wrong and what is going on with your care. Contacted his office upon release from Research as had a military medical problem and they are getting it fixed for me or changing my meds. Tricare for life will not pay for my meds. Thank you to you and your staff helping me to resolve this problem it's really appreciated.
