Dr pingree strongly recommended my husband get astigmatism correcting torric lenses during his cataract surgery. He said the only downside was the extra cost, $450 to him and $895 to IHC hospital. We paid dr pingree $450 x2 but the hospital is charging $2145.15x2. Dr pingree is taking no responsibility. IHC is reviewing it. It was supposed to take 7-10 days. Now it will take a month. Dr pingree recommended toric lense which he said "everyone"would get but it cost extra $1345 . $450 to be paid to dr pingree, the rest to the hospital. We paid dr pingree but the hospital is billing $2186 per eye for the lenses and we already paid 450 per eye to dr pingree, it is roughly double what he said it would be for the lenses. I got no help when I called, the evading uncomfortable questions. The lenses is problematic.
