Nine years ago I started seeing Dr Edward’s after being referred by his retiring colleague. I had been treated for a few years for RA but once referred to Dr. Edward’s he decided I did not have RA and I no longer needed to receive treatment. Because he dismissed me, I have had to endure over 13 surgeries including five joint replacements. I would recommend running if you are referred to him for any reason.
I concur with the other 1-star, both he and his nurse are very condescending. Automatically assumed I was drug-seeking and did not look at my pre-registration form that gave the reason for the visit. Incredibly unhelpful, and borderline insulting. Do not recommend.
Do not see Dr Edwards unless you want to be patronized and dismissed by him and his nurse. Especially if you believe you have hypermobility as he incorrectly believes it cannot cause widespread pain (I think every hypermobile person knows better than that!). Also if you don't currently have pain in your forearms he will dismiss fibromyalgia as well, because you know, that's the only criteria for it 🙄. And watch out for his "oh your poor [whatever is ailing you]", you'll probably hear that a lot (I did at least 3x). I wish I... read more
