Long overdue review. I had a severely herniated disc, was virtually bedridden for months because of the pain I sustained in my leg whenever I stood up and moved around. Went to the hospital for a week or so with no improvement, oxycodone and similar strength pain meds barely touched it. Physical therapy wasn’t working. Dr. Steinhaus gave me my life as I knew . In 15- 20 minute visit he said we can help you be without pain. After surgery for lumbar decompression, I am able to stand without pain. Amazing. After three years of seeing other doctors who wanted to serious hardware back surgery, this is such a blessing to have been referred to Dr. Steinhaus. Thank you so very much Dr. Steinhaus and him team.
I had a need for urgent surgery after a nerve and my cervical spine got impinged causing temporary paralysis and severe pain. Dr. Steinhaus went out of his way to get me in for surgery as quickly as he could. I had insurance issues which caused me to have to cancel the first surgery and Dr. Steinhaus, took the extra measure of finding intermediate pain management and then rescheduled the surgery faster than I could have ever hoped. I feel like I was well taken care of, and I appreciate all of Dr. Steinhaus and his team’s efforts to learn how to perform these kinds of complex surgeries that require so much less recovery time.
