Dr. Steinhaus diagnosed a back problem that was my ALIF. During surgery he determined it was two deteriorated disc not one. Surgery took 5 hours but I was home that evening. Dr. Steinhaus and his staff are excellent. I just had my four week follow up and I am progressing nicely. After the second week the pain was treatable with Tylenol. He also prescribed Gabapentin for the nerve pain. The staff is fabulous and I couldn't have had a better experience. I am walking about two miles a day now and am working up to 6. Dr Steinhaus is the absolute best spine surgeon. I was in so much pain when I met him. He got me in and did a wonderful job relieving all that pain I had. I was so miserable, and I feel so much better. His staff is awesome. So friendly and accommodating. I definitely would recommend him and his staff. They are the best.
