I hate this VA with a passion. The phone line passes you off from 1 person to the next. The doctors dont talk to each other. Unnecessary appts. From start to finish, its all a complete joke. These people do not care about you.
A lot gets said about the VA system; and I, for one, have been pretty critical... mostly related to the "administration" and positions related. But, I want to say I had one of the most pleasant (if skin can surgery for 4 hours can be pleasant) experiences this morning at the Houston VAMC Dermatology Department. I had interface with more than 6 medical personnel for my procedures this morning. Got "called back" 30 minutes early, by name.
