I had a potentially serious medical emergency and my doctor notified me immediately. A specialist (Dr. Davis) was required and he made time available to see me soon after. Dr. Davis was very thorough in explaining why I was sent to him. As a result of Dr. Davis taking the time to carefully review my file, he was able to determine that i didn't need urgent treatment. I saw Dr. Davis near the end of 2024. I felt hopeful because he had really good reviews and while he was kind, I did not feel heard. I had a plethora of doctors tell me they believed my symptoms aligned with a particular diagnosis. I presented to Dr. Davis a list of symptoms as they pertain to this possible diagnosis. to test me for this diagnosis, he had me sit on the table where he took my blood pressure and then had me stand up and took it again . After being blatantly dismissed by a different cardiologist about tachycardia concerns, Dr. Davis listened and validated me. One of the things he said to me was "I believe you. Do you want to know why? Because you told me." And boy could I have cried right there. He also diagnosed a murmur in my dads heart just by listening to it and with all of that, if that's not a doctor that listens (literally) idk what is.
The whole experience was good…from being greeted at the front door to check in… the nurse was good in listening to me & went over all my medications…Dr Davis was very nice and spent time asking questions….and answered the questions we wanted asked…
