I've had arthritis for 18 years now. I was first diagnosed when I was 16, and moved to Utah from Michigan in 2018. I used to be a patient at University of Michigan, which is a world renown school for medicine. This is who I'm comparing him to. Coming from there, I was shocked by how quickly his office able to fit me in. I'm not saying it took two weeks mind you, but it was only a month waiting time for an appointment! Google reviews don’t lie. I saw the reviews before trying to get an appointment of home terrible the office is run, but my internal medicine doctor referred me so I figured I’d give it a shot. I have been trying for three weeks to even get an appointment set and I can’t get past the gatekeeping. I’ve been told the nurse needs to review my chart, to make sure I’m “approved” even though I was referred, but three weeks is ridiculous.
He always listens to my concerns.
I feel like Dr. Darley doesn't deserve all these negative reviews. Maybe he has changed over the years, and if so, that is wonderful of him for listening to feedback. I initially didn't accept an appointment with him because of these reviews, but after talking with a trusted doctor and a close friend with multiple autoimmune diseases, I reconsidered and I'm glad I did.
