Dr. Milligan was perfectly nice and helpful, but be prepared to do all the work for his staff and end up with nothing. They told me I had to take care of submitting for preauthorization to the insurance company myself for the procedure Dr. Milligan recommended. "Go look on the HSS portal and you can pull the notes yourself." I was told. Great Doctor. Super nice and extremely supportive for a patient who was very nervous and treatment. He was great.
I am a physician who has practiced medicine in PB County for over 40 years. HSS referred me to Dr Milligan a couple years ago for a knee problem. Saw him multiple times. Very disappointed. Seemed bored,uncaring and not at all proactive. I found him to be poorly responsive administratively as HSS “program director.” Couple weeks ago I called for an appointment for acute exacerbation of my knee problem- was told by Melissa he couldn’t see an established patient for 6 weeks.
