Dr. Fitzpatrick has been my GP for about a decade. He has been nothing but uber professional, kind, funny and straight forward. He listens. We discuss all sorts of health issues and I tell him my health plan, my diet and my concerns. He’s one of the reasons why I like living here. The issues related to time and ease of appointments are Sentara related and have nothing to do with him.
Thorough, knowledgeable, caring. Does not rush your appointment and genuinely cares for his patients. Takes the time to explain any issues or results and offers practical guidance to achieve best health. Outstanding.
Dr. “Fitz” is always extremely patient, kind and thorough. I never feel rushed. Not a big fan of doctor appts but he definitely takes the pain out of going. Highly recommend!
Once again Dr. Fitzpatrick who has been our PCP for 21 years has made himself available when we needed him. He Has always Taken excellent care of both my husband & myself at each appointment. Dr. Fitzpatrick has been our family physician for 15+ years. We agree fully with all the five star ratings, from the genuine concern to the spot-on referrals to specialists and to never rushing through an appointment to stay on schedule. He is often behind schedule as a result, which does not bother us at all, and he often has no lunch or grabs a bite on the fly in order to accommodate us and others when necessary. In short, we can't imagine having anyone but him as our family doctor.
When you choose a family doctor you look for someone that has a genuine concern for you and your health. Dr. Fitzpatrick has been my wife's and my doctor for over 10 years. I have had several doctors in my lifetime but none that can compare with Dr. Fitzpatrick. His referrals to specialist alone have been the best and his analysis of our health issues has been excellent. Thanks you Dr. Fitzpatrick for your service in the past, present and future.
Dr. Fitz is a kind person, a wise physician, and a down-to-earth guy. He is such a compassionate man who genuinely cares for his patients. He never rushes our appointments and his bedside manner is great. He's helped me through some very tough times and I am truly grateful for his kindness, professionalism, and compassion.
