I've been a patient of Dr Cooksey for many years-he even delivered two of my children- but after my experience today, I will not be returning to his office. I had a GYN appointment scheduled for 345pm that I waited months for, only to receive a cancellation text at 815am the same day. This is not the first time this happened, and it's become clear that the quality of care and professionalism declined significantly. Dr. Cooksey is the GOAT of all OB GYN's! I was in a domestic violence relationship and he made sure that me and my baby were safe before being discharged from the hospital.
Dr. Cooksey and his midwife Katie were my OB during my pregnancy at the height of COVID and I loved them so much. I had a very complicated pregnancy and 4 previous losses and they 100% got it and were so great and supportive. I credit my happy healthy child to them. Cannot recommend them enough for OB care, even more so if you have complicated pregnancies- I had placenta previa, GD among other things and they were amazing!!
