I really don’t know where to begin. I have never in all my life seen such a disgraceful hospital. Went to the ER sat 3 hours before being taken back to the most dirty room and had the pleasure to get a blanket with an old band aide stuck to it (I have pictures) saw a doc for 2 seconds asked me some questions never saw her again. Awful. She l leaves when you ask a question and then charges you for nothing
My father has come in over the last few years three times he fell and broke his hip he had a stroke and he was sent home from the rehab with a UTI dehydrated and Kovic he brought him to the hospital every time he’s received excellent care the nurses are great they are kind and caring and I have nothing but gratitude for them and all the hard work they do thank you UH
My father received excellent care here everyone was kind and helpful and we are blessed to have a hospital right here near us for our medical needed we have come in as emergency patients a few times and as busy as it was we understand when it took a bit longer we were not the only ones there . Thank you to everyone who provides health care at uh .
I would give a zero star if I could. Glover is unprofessional with his communication. He does not listen and he has difficulty answering questions that may go against what he says. He is cocky, arrogant and rude. He does not spend much time in appointments with you. He is the worst.
I love Dr. Whitmer he is very knowledgeable and has taken care of my family. I trust him, he gives you all the information and lets you make the decision on what you want to do.
We never got phone call after the labs were received to go over them and there were a few out of range. There were also labs we didn't get. Bedside manner was only ok.
*** MENTAL HEALTH PATIENTS, BEWARE!!! *** Long review, but please read if you are experiencing any kind of mental health crisis or seeking care for suicidal ideation, and DO NOT GO HERE. I cannot stress this enough. They may attempt to illegally involuntarily commit you! This happened to me one evening at this hospital. I was pink-slipped for suicidality over what everyone involved characterizes as a misunderstanding (i.e., not a suicide attempt).
