If your looking for a doctor to do your knee ... LOOK no Further!! Dr. Welker is the BEST!! His attention to detail and ability to calm all your fears down is worth everything. He will spend as much time as you need to answer all your questions. Had my surgery in October and wanted to be hiking on Spring break in Sedona. Dr. Welker said it was possible and I DID IT! Hiked for 4 days with no pain. Absolutely the BEST!
Just met this incredible surgeon today after my 90 year old mom fell and broke her hip. He was on call and got her in to surgery immediately. What a lovely man with a big heart and a soft spot for seniors. My personal thanks to Dr. Welker for his compassion and gracious demeanor. Meant a lot.
Dr Welker could not have been more attentive. If you do the pre-op exercises and follow the post op instructions you will have great success. YOU are the best option for your success! 6 weeks post op for TKR and I am using an exercise bike at rehab. Hardly needed pain meds at all.
I've been coping with orthopedic issues since the 80's . I've been lucky. I know how to find great doctors. Dr. Welker's right up there with the best I've had. You can't go wrong here. He's intelligent, skilled, kind, and compassionate....can't wait to have my other hip replaced lol
Dr. Welker replaced both of my knees... one year apart. I couldn't be happier.
