Dr. Michael Simms has an awesome bedside manner, he is always cheerful and listens to my medical issues. He worked with me after I fired my last doctor. He saw immediately my insulin dosage was way to high, which is why I was hungry constantly and couldn't lose weight. After a through exam he explained his health plan he decided for me. I went from an A1C of 13+ to around 8 and I lost weight/pants sizes. When I couldn't progress any further he sent me to the best specialist in the SE. Very competent, excellent communication, doesn't hesitate to refer to specialist if needed, works with other doctors very well. i totally trust Mike Sims. He is highly skilled in medicine and has compassion for patients. Great doctor and person.
I have been a patient for quite some time. Dr Sims has always been thorough,honest and compassionate. As I have matured, and my needs change he has been there every step of the way.
