4/7/26. I was in the hospital for a heart ablation. The procedure seemed to go fine but I started bleeding through my legs at the femoral veins. Two nurses who I couldn't get their names, because I thought I was dying, sprang into action and pressed on the veins to stop the bleeding until the other staff could get a tourniquet clamp on one leg. I cant speak for the entire hospital but the emergency room there is scary and awful. I was taken there by the ambulance with severe pains in my stomach, most likely because I was born with my small intestine in my large. The fact is I went there with needing some medical service. The service was awful, the male nurse actually made a physical and verbal threat to me. Its an emergency staff that needs to be investigated. They have no compassion , and are scary cold people. That ER nurse Marissa needs to be fired. Nasty mouth, rude to patients, fould mouthed, no compassion, she should be a prison guard. NOT A NURSE
It was the worst experience ever. My mother was there for almost a month. The doctors told me she had a spot of gangreen on her foot, and they put a referral in for a podiatrist consult with Dr. Lamb. He never saw her. They told me they put in a half a dozen referrals for a hospital podiatrist to evaluate her foot. He never showed. I asked for a call, and he never called me about it, but no one did. Terrible hospital. Was there for 8 hrs having chest pains while the doctor was making his rounds to the nurses looking through their phones at vacation pics they just took. Two people who had also been waiting over 7hrs just got up and left and I did the same without even getting my blood work results. Hospital staff needs to be reviewed .
After coming into the ER a little after midnight with shortness of breath and chest pains, they left me sitting in the waiting area for over 20 minutes before taking me into triage (and only after I almost passed out and my husband demanding that they come get me). It only got worse from there. I was there almost 9 hours before being seen by a doctor, and I'm convinced I'd still be waiting if I hadn't flagged down a nurse and told her to get the IV out of me, because I was leaving. Do not go to this place. recently I was there for a week. My God it was awful. I would lie in my pee. I would ring many times for the nurses.. They never showed up .. The nurses were rude! The staff was rude. What a horrible place. The place is dirty. nobody deserves to be treated like I was.
The care that I received at the Sunnyview Therapy office in Troy after my Achilles tendon surgery was thorough and professional in an atmosphere of kindness and joy. I am grateful for Neha Swaminarayan, Catherine Blanchfield the physical therapists who provided excellent care and instruction. Also, Brenda Moore, the receptionist who was always so friendly and helpful. I most certainly recommend this office for those requiring physical therapy. with much gratitude, Al Deeb
