good place, good people, good food. authentic itlalian food with an emphasis on service and family. all around great place. where you wanna be to taste sauce just like grandmas!!!!
Great Italian food, service, and chef... – One of our favorite close-to-home restaurants. The mushroom ravioli is one of my husband's favorites. I love the rolled stuffed eggplant and Michael A's scallops. Hopefully I will have saved room for the Tiramasu! The chef is the owner who always comes out and asks about your meal. The wait staff is always pleasant and attentive. So sorry to read the previous bad reviews - we have never had a bad experience there.
Great food and GREAT Service – I'm not sure what planet the other party is from, however, my husband and I have been faithful customers of Michael A's for over 10 years. The food has always be consistently great, in fact we use the restaurant to cater our holiday meals.
Bad service – After placing an order and making use wait 1h , the waitress told my husband they were sold out of ravioli ... what respectable Italian place runs out of ravioli . I did get the pasta i ordered , but the taste was worst than chef boyardee so please stay away
DON"T WASTE YOU MONEY – Complete disappointment! Michael A’s would not accept the Entertainment card with the lobster dinner, so my wife ordered the broiled seafood platter. She wanted to add a lobster tail to the platter (as allowed on the menu) but was told we could not use the card with the optional tail (nothing in the Entertainment book addressed any issue about ordering lobster). Pittsburgh is blessed with numerous neighborhood Italian restaurants of high quality, like this one. – The Scene Owner/chef Michael Sciulli moves between the kitchen and dining rooms, checking on the house and making sure everyone is happy.
