I've been a patient of Dr. Akpeke for 13 years. He's compassionate, caring, and an excellent diagnostitian. He also does not hesitate to refer to specialists when necessary. He has always taken time to listen and involve me in health care decisions. Additionally he's a hospitalist. When hospitalized he knew me and my medical history. He has always gone the extra mile to give me the best medical care. His staff is always friendly, polite and professional. He's one of the most caring physicians I know!
My personal opinion of him as a doctor is not good.... My personal experience with him was bad... I would not recommend him for anything... Just got a collection notice for a 90 dollar bill. No phone call. No bill sent first. I'm not surprised given my impression of him. It matches... lol
I haven’t been to this doctor since April of 2020 Just received a bill from a collection agency for $20. No phone call, bill, email, text ever received from this office regarding an outstanding debt. Called billing 5 - 6 times the last 2 weeks with no answer or returned
Doctor Michael Akpeke has been my Primary Care Dr. over 20 years, because he is an excellent doctor!!!! I needed a Dr. to oversee my many reports/test/labs etc and he is AWESOME being my core Dr.!!!! He listens, and doesn't rush you, makes a plan then takes time to explain it. He is there for his patients, I can confidently say he is the best doctor I have ever had.
