Controlling and dismissive. Refused to handle parts of my care that my previous family doctor embraced. He actually told me to stop working out because making sure doing so was safe for me was a challenge and wasn’t a part of my care he was willing to take on. He even coded my initial visit improperly which resulted in a large charge for the visit from my insurance company but he is so arrogant that he refused to admit he made a mistake and would not correct it. Prescribes you the wrong medication and does very little to remedy it. Literally gave the wrong pills and it turned me into a maniac (a person with mania). Penn Medicine and "Dr." Welsh seem incapable prescribing any medication appropriately. Also the man has no ability to communicate with his patients or properly disclose risks and side effects, so there's that also.
Dr Welsh is awful. He doesn’t listen to you as a patient. He spews what he thinks. Bedside manners terrible. Expertise terrible. Run don’t walk away from this clown
