Delivered with this doctor in 2017. Never have I felt like more of an inconvenience or burden than I did here. I chose an unmedicated birth, and was belittled for it from the get go. Every time he waltzed into my room, he said something like “so are you ready for pain meds yet” or “how about that epidural now?”. I’ll spare the graphic details of my delivery, but he made it clear that nothing was on the timeframe my body or my baby was on, it was all about him. I have been arguing my case for sterilization since my son was born 3 years ago. TWO different *female* doctors at this office told me ‘I was too young’, ‘I could have regrets’, and one very unprofessional (young! female!) doctor even told me to go home and ask my boyfriend for PERMISSION! I left the office livid! Not Dr. Pepi!! I brought up the subject again at my appointment with him, (my usual obgyn was unavailable) expecting to hear the same excuses as before. If you are looking for a caring and attentive physician...look elsewhere. I was seen by Dr. Pepi yesterday. He was uncaring and dismissive of my pregnancy concerns. He behaved as if every question was a burden. He did not address my very high blood pressure. I have not slept more than 1-3 hours every night for over 2 weeks and he brushed off my concerns. I can’t stress enough how horrible this visit was. Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor.
