Dr. Matergia is a caring doctor he listen and don't ignore your concerns tries to find some type of solution to make you feel better he is one of the better doctors there my previous doctor Carpenter introduced me to him to make sure that he would be a fit for me I'm picky I don't let every doctor treat me I like the one doctor I don't like a slew of doctors.
If you want to wait an hour past your appointment, only to be rushed out because "I have other patients", then you've found the doctor for you!!!
My experience with this doctor was some years ago when I was in the hospital for MONTHS. When doctors did their rounds at this specific place (UC Health) it was always a “herd” of doctors and not just one. When the herd included Dr. Matergia I was always so happy because he legitimately cared about me. If he didn’t care, he certainly did a good job at convincing me he did! He’s probably top two of my favorite doctors I’ve ever had. I would recommend him to anyone that would ask me for recommendations! ✌🏻
