My name is Leslie Schoonmaker, I was diagnosed with lung cancer March of 2023 and was referred to Dr. Bhora who is a lung surgeon. I have never had the honor before to meet such a dedicated, caring and sensitive doctor, he is wonderful. I had tumors on both my lungs and Dr. Bhora performed 2 surgeries to remove the 3 tumors on my lungs. He was able to successfully remove the cancerous tumors. I am now receiving chemotherapy treatment to make sure all cells are eliminated. Dr. Bhora is always available if you need to talk or ... read more

Arrived at ER at NDH at 8 pm friday night and was immediately taken to triage and then to a room. The ER doctor on call left no stone unturned when trying to find the cause of my symptoms. The nurse on call Laura, painlessly and professionally started an IV and took several vials of blood. Every person from the receptionists to the triage nurse to all the care givers and other staff treated me with the utmost respect. Great experience and wonderful ER department.

The staff and providers in the OBGYN were the rudest, least professional, least caring people I have ever encountered in the medical world. Avoid the Northern Dutchess OBGYN department like the plague, especially provider Jenna Stout Smith.

Still suffering severe PTSD and Functional Neurological Disorder from a Caesarean with little anesthesia. I shook ferociously, cried , and described the pain. Was commanded to "Breathe through it." I froze and knew my attempts to get help fell on deaf ears. Anesthesia team NEVER asked about my comfort. Upon arrival in recovery room, I showed anesthesia nurse I could feel and move my feet at will. She saw me move my feet. She said, "Had we given you more medicine, you would have felt like barfing." Anesthesia chairman gav... read more

Its all about the money. The staff is excellent I could not have gotten better care by everyone from the dining staff down to the cleaning staff. The real stars were the Rns and their assistants. The businessman ( doctors with stethoscopes) have no regard for your health they are in the business of maximizing the profits. They tried to release me when my health was still questionable.

If I could give a zero I would. Brought a friend in for mental health issues. Rooms were filthy dirty, and staff did nothing but ask a few questions. Horrible beyond words. Do not ever go there!

I would advise no one to work for this company. I am in the healthcare field and all i ever hear (and see) are negative comments. I know the actual working staff is amazing however management needs to be replaced starting from the top

Danbury Hospital was a nightmare, understaffed, overcrowded. Arrived by ambulance, over 4 hours shoved in ER waiting with flu CoVid patients. Told there was a room waiting but have not been seen. Only one other person was here when we arrived and still is. If I have a choice in the future we will go to Bridgeport!!!!! Zero rating

I brought a family member in for mental health services and they did practically nothing. Asked her a few questions and sent her on her way. Terrible and sad.
