I consulted Dr Baskies regarding my dupuytren's contracture, he was very thorough and professional. I would highly recommend him based on my experience.
What an amazing Dr!!! And staff. I had surgery on my finger for a cyst in January. I have a lot of anxiety and they made me feel calm and relaxed! I am also a hairdresser and was very worried about losing my fingernail. Doctor Baskies did an amazing job! He saved my fingernail and removed the cyst with very short recovery time of two weeks!!! Dr. Baskies is an excellent hand surgeon - he does VERY GOOD work. I had a catastrophic wrist injury. I dropped a pyrex casserole dish and received a severe glass cut that severed seven tendons, an artery and a nerve - Dr. Baskies was my emergency surgeon. I cannot overstate what a good job he did - today I have use of all my fingers and my right hand works! I have noticed that a number of people have left negative reviews. Was visiting from out of state and sustained a fall resulting in injury to my right hand. Was fortunate to be referred to the top hand surgeon around there, Dr Michael Baskies. He was very personable and willing to do surgery I needed promptly, but decided to end trip sooner than expected and return to Texas to have the surgery here. Dr. Baskies has a great personality. He was very thorough and attentive. Pre much resolved my issue on the first visit. I have a follow up soon but I think I'm good thanks to him. Staff was equally as friendly and attentive. Glad I have him.
