Dr Bergman truly should not be allowed to practice medicine or at the very least perform surgery. She has used informed consent as a defense for a rather horrific surgery outcome causing at least one patient to have 9 follow up surgeries which may still not resolve one of the more incredible recessive eyelid surgeries imaginable. Speaking of this think of looking like a Great White with the white of the eyes showing as they are grabbing prey with their mouth. It’s hard to fathom how much harm she has created.
Feeling compelled to leave this review after the level of care we received this morning from Dr. Bergman and her team of nurses and her anesthesiologist as my daughter underwent eye surgery. She was so scared and all of the team went out of their way to get on her level as a 10 year old and not only outfit her stuffed animal in matching OR gear, but also make her feel as though she was going on an exciting adventure heading to the OR as if she was on a Disneyland ride. Dr. Bergman is fantastic! I randomly developed a blocked tear duct as an adult and had constant eye tearing and irritation. She explained the treatment options well, and even drew a diagram to help me understand. There were two surgery options and she recommended the less invasive one for me after going through the benefits, risks, and likelihood of success. Approach with caution. Claims excitement about surgical results prior to surgery and takes no responsibility for major medical errors. Honestly, gives herself high marks when the actual quality of her surgical work is the lowest end of zero.
Dr. Bergman did a great job on my eyelid , the scar is invisible. No pain, always on time, loved having her as my surgeon and highly recommend 🌷
