Amazing service and welcoming atmosphere. Cucumber salad was really good.
First time here. It is nice to sit in the patio for noodle. The noodles are chewy and tasty. The beef is well. Will come again next time.
On October 3rd 2025 went there to lunch with my daughter. We ordered the beef rib, cucumber salad and Chengdu Zajiang noodle and brown sugar sticky rice. The noodle was good but the rest was very average and lacking any flavor. Sticky rice was deep fried and just add brown sugar and texture was too dense and flavorless. This review is almost a Tale of Two Cities for me.... On the plus side, Bay Area needs a place like Mian Sichuan Noodles (MSN)y that provides delicious foods (especially Beef Noodle Soup & side dishes) at reasonable price points with homey feels that we used to feel while back home growing up in Asia, noatter what regions - TW, CN, HK or Singapore. Ordered the spicy braised beef noodle and a steamed egg as an appetizer. Steamed egg is a steamed egg in a metal cup, it has some ground pork and some of the minced spiced pork. Has most of the flavors you would get with the spiced noodle dish but with eggs. The real dish or star was the spicy braised beef noodle. The broth was rich but not too “thick” or rich with flavor.
