Glad to see someone else is taking over this place. I’ve only been here twice and both times were absolutely horrible. The first time my boyfriend and I sat outside just to have a drink. He ordered an old fashion. I ordered a mule. The drinks come out. The server ended up ringing in a Manhattan, which isn’t normally a big deal except my boyfriend has a nut allergy and they use almond bitters in their manhattans. So we end up having to go inside to get things fixed because he obviously cannot drink his drink. They didn’t care... read more

I don’t know if today was an off day for the kitchen. The kids chicken tenders were so spicy they made my mouth burn (and I like spice). I ordered the red flannel hash at the suggestion of our server, the pork belly pieces were cold and it was off putting. Perhaps if I had been able to eat them, they would have added the salt the dish was lacking. I was served a raw Michigan biscuit and the cooked one they sent out was also missing salt. We were traveling through and I wish I had picked another restaurant today.
