Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday, and it was delicious. It was quiet for a weekend lunch and the service was attentive. Started with the guacamole, which was totally fresh and creamy. Father in law had the shrimp and garlic (camarones al mojo de ajo) and loved it. I had the quesabirria, which was really tender and tasted like shredded pot roast. I actually downed some of the jus with a spoon because it was so flavorful. I don’t live nearby, but I would absolutely come back for more if I did.
I always go on about if what you normally get at a Mexican restaurant is really authentic. So this place should have fit the bill....my girl ordered tamales, I've made tamales and know how they should look, etc....these came out, nothing but 3 tamales....they looked like they were made with a wet corn wrap....not much taste....very disappointing....ordered queso with chorizo....it came out swimming in oil and not creamy....pretty terrible
Wow, this is the second time I have been there and it did not disappoint! I brought my family back this time and everyone loved their meals. We started with the loaded nachos. Main meals were burritos and enchiladas. Delicious! I’m sorry about didn’t take photos before we dug in. This is my favorite Mexican place in the Flemington area. They seemed to do a good take out business too. Give it a try!
