She was nice, but it's the same old story. I was told I couldn't get the medication that helps me . I was prescribed an antidepressant instead of an anxiety medication. I need a specific medication that I know helps me. I'm tired of suffering. I'm going to try a new primary care physician that a friend told me about and if all else fails I'll order my meds online. I already found a pharmacy that will send me the medication and it's not very expensive. I'm desperate and I'm going to what I have to.
I requested a letter of advocacy to support my decision to withdraw from a college course due to significant mental health stressors. The psychiatric team managing my medications informed me that providing such a letter was outside their scope of practice. Communication from the office was inconsistent, and I often had to send multiple follow-up emails to receive a response.
