Dr Kim was more concerned about processing a cookie cutter prognosis than about the patient. The whole process with Ochsner clinic was the same doctor prognosis, x-ray procedure up to the PT evaluation and of course they wanted payment upfront. I fired doctor kim and Ochsner Health clinic and went another route and glad I did. My new doctor prescribed a MRI which was performed on Dec 8th. Doctor's prognosis will be based off the MRI. I recently visited Dr. Mimi Kim for a procedure and I have to say, it was a great experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which helped ease my nerves. Dr. Kim herself was very approachable and took the time to listen to my concerns. She explained everything clearly and made sure I understood the next steps in my treatment. My appointment was to see what type of alternatives there were to surgery. Both knees and hip& SI joints. I asked about nerve ablation. She told me that it’s no longer done. I was literally reading about in the office. I tried to asked her a question and she cut me off saying “ let’s get that nerve ablation scheduled”. I looked at her and told her she contradicted everything she just told. I got up and left. She doesn’t like the patient to ask questions. She has a superiority complex.
