After fighting for months with this company to get my deposit back and filing a construction fraud claim, I just received a letter in the mail stating owner went out of business and filed bankruptcy. They kept my deposit from my insurance company and never performed any construction work. Owner and staffing were not returning any phone calls or emails. No wonder why they went out of business “Scammers”

If you want your job done at all, find a different company. Between March 1 and April 30, 2019, we provided more than $25,000 to MHS per their schedule for our garage-to-living conversion. We acted in good faith, choosing to believe they would uphold their end of the agreement. I mean, that's what good people do and why contracts exist. As of today, we have had our home left open and unsecured for more than 40 days with no schedule for work to be continued or performed. They ignore our phone calls, texts, and emails. “Beware of the Fine Print” Let me tell you about my experience to warn all before you have MHS Build do your remodel job. The job was going to begin and the estimator came over for me to sign the contract. I had a cashier’s check for $7,500 and wrote a personal check for almost $1,900 to do additional flooring.
