We offer guided trips by canoe and kayak across the Northwest Territories. Over the last few years we've had 3 staff from MHO Adventures come over to join our team. We are selective in our hiring but I have to say that the guides from MHO have been exceptional and exceeded our high expectations. Just completed a Guided Dumoine River Trip with MHO. We had a great week of paddling whitewater. Our Guides, Sam and Shauna were experienced, professional and competent. They not only guided us safely through the rapids but they helped us upgrade our WW paddling skills, taught us WW reading skills with patience and grace. They were both work horses. If you want to learn rapids and everything involved in wilderness tripping from extremely skilled guides--go with MHO. From "home baked" cinnamon rolls to appetizers and full lovely dinners--the food variey was amazing. MHO cares for their trip participants with excellent food, gear and guides.
Our first portaging trip as a family with 2 young kids and MHO made the process easy and fun! We did 2 nights, 3 days in Haliburton Highlands. The kids had a blast and we can't wait to book our next trip. Special thanks to Nick, Sophie and Sam who guided us and cooked delicious meals by the fire.
