Got help for a friend in crisis despite lack of insurance. Everyone was kind and we got the help that was needed.
Despite telling them and having a member of my household telling them I'm fine and safe and explaining that the help they are offering I don't need(I don't have the insurance for it) they instead would not leave it be like I had asked and continued to try and get me to talk Despite telling them I want to be left alone. In attempts to "help" me they instead caused more distress as I stated "I don't want to continue to talk about this anymore I just had a rough night".
I don’t know what they get paid for here because it’s obviously not mental health services. Came in suicidal, left suicidal, immediately tried to kill myself at home. Only still here because I was interrupted by a roommate. They forgot to call to check on me when they said they would, which is honestly a blessing because I didn’t want anything to do with them again. The therapist issue) Therapist, Marsha Pengram, had used my #1 current stressor about my home life against me, saying 'maybe I should try out chemo and see what it's like for why it would stress you out by seeing {family member} go through it.' They refuse to give out bus passes now so I will be unable to pick up my medicine and see the doctor until I have money (I guess).. kinda silly being a government facility for people mostly in the lower class (includes me) and that have money issues... Honestly disappointed with the team lead on this call but the other staff has been helpful
