This was my second time building a custom home but the experience was truly unmatched. Our project manager (Danny) and designer (Bri) were an absolute dream team! They worked seamlessly together to beautifully and thoughtfully bring the plans that MGM designed for us to life. From start to finish, the process was as fun and stress-free as building a house could possibly be. My finished home is one-of-a-kind and I hope to have the pleasure of working with them again on future projects.
I moved into my brand new MGM custom built home 3 months ago and it is spectacular! The whole process, from the first site visit with Taylor (heck, even the first phone call), to the design with a great architect, Matt, to the actual build with an amazing project manager, a different Matt, was seamless. After a few months of planning and negotiations, we were about to sign a contract with this company a few years ago and then they ghosted us. Never got back to me. Nothing. What a horrible thing to do. This is the exact reason we need building contractors to be licensed in the state of Maine and held accountable.
Matt was terrific as was his whole team. We had a patio that needed to be pulled up and redone, and our deck recentered in the posts after it buckled during the winter. MGM gave an accurate estimate that was very reasonable and got the work done in a timely fashion. They communicated really well. Would highly recommend!
We just completed our custom home with MGM Builders, and couldn’t be happier. Being in the construction industry myself, I was concerned we would not find a builder and team that would meet all of our goals- but MGM did just that.
