I was randomly given Dr Lien as my PCP over 18 years ago when I returned to Boston and my sister recommended that I find a practitioner at MGH-BACK BAY. Luckiest person in the world-Dr Wei Lien has literally saved my life by properly diagnosing me after MASS EYE AND EAR did not do so. One of the best medical diagnosticians I have ever met. Compassion boundless. Who could ask for more. Thank you Dr Lien!
Provides excellent care. As a patient I feel I'm listened to and my concerns/input are addressed and validated, even when they may be a little out there. Dr Lien possesses all the traits one needs a physician to have. He is efficient yet thorough, confident, and kind. The support staff is very well trained and as accommodating as they can be. Parking is an issue. I either use public transit, Uber, or give myself an extra 30 min to find a spot and walk to the office. Yes, that part kinda sucks but it's Boston that's how we li... read more

I would give no star if I could. Being a physician is all about caring and understanding patients' concerns. But Lien Wei (I don't even feel like to call him Dr.) has no compassion of any kind! I went to see him for a severe case of a sore throat, with just 2 minutes of conversation and a brief look at my throat, he concluded that I had a viral infection and didn't require any tests or prescription medications. I asked him how he can be so sure if no test was done. Even the nurse administrator wanted to give me a swab test t... read more
