I have no idea what shampoo they used. My scalp is extremely dry and covered in dandruff after using it. It’s nothing like what they claimed for sensitive scalps. Totally a terrible experience! The business chose to deflect and lie instead of addressing the issue, which is exactly why they deserve these low ratings.
My best friend and I came here for the massage and headspa package and it was wonderful! Jessica and Ashley are so talented! They explained what was happening and the massages had the perfect amount of pressure. This was our first time getting a head spa service and I will definitely book again! It was very relaxing especially the steam and warm water on shoulders. I highly recommend booking an appointment!
I won a head spa treatment here and the staff could not have been more accommodating and skilled. They made me feel so comfortable and well-cared for. The entire experience was absolutely incredible, and as someone who has a chronically dry scalp and very thin hair, I left feeling more relaxed and beautiful than ever. When I can, I will be back to MG Spa for another head spa, and look forward to trying out their other services, which are all very reasonably priced!
Today, my boyfriend and I visited MG Spa for a couples head spa, and we had the worst experience. We will absolutely not be returning. I emailed the spa over a month ago to book the appointment and specifically asked whether they had couples rooms where we could receive the service together. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and I appreciated how clean my scalp felt afterwards. The leg massage was also nice, and everyone treated me very well throughout the appointment. That said, the experience itself was not as relaxing as I expected. The hair washing and scalp massage were much too rough for me, and my scalp is still red and sore afterwards.
