Made a booking for a Thursday night, showed up and it was closed. They had taken a booking fee and I received no communication at all!
Made a reservation for Saturday 2nd August, confirmed by the restaurant by email almost 2 weeks in advance. Turned up at the restaurant that evening with wifey for the start of our date night to the disappointment of a closed restaurant. No email, no phone call to say that the restaurant was shut. Luckily there's a good choice of restaurants nearby and we ended up having a lovely Italian meal instead 😋
Zak and Malena's restaurant is the place to go if you care as much about the food as they do. Authentic and real! Zak can read the room and read us perfectly. I wish we could have taken this place home with us! My wife and I enjoyed dinner with exactly what we were looking for, an explosion of flavours, authentic dishes and matching spices. The jumbo prawns are top drawer and I've not had any that size since Santorini. They were €84 euros on our 2018 honeymoon and these were less than a third of the price in London! Complim... read more
