Walt, Please thank Nico for the install. He was there at 6:30 hauled everything he needed out of the truck and went straight to work. I think you have a real “keeper” there. The work was good, but I was charged $220/hr, more than twice the average rate for an electrician in dc. There was nothing special about the job, not an emergency problem or anything out of the ordinary.
Meyer Electrical Services, Inc has been maintaining my Kohler generator for many, many years. Walt has corrected inferior work that was done during another companies installation and maintained my system through a service contract. Initially it was difficult to find someone who worked on Kohler but I found Meyer Electrical Services to be experts in Kohler as well as other brands and responsive to the occasional service issues that have arisen over the years. These guys are fantastic. They were able to install a 240v line for an induction range in a very tricky area with minimal patchwork needed to existing drywall. Super professional and at a fair price!
Overall, great experience! I spoke to Walt late in the day and he set up an emergency appointment for me first thing in the morning. Niko, the technician who arrived, was fantastic — professional, patient with my questions, and most importantly solved my issue where 3 others had missed the problem. Thank you Meyer Electrical!
