This was a wonderful place to stay. Lizzy and staff were friendly, kind and helpful, with great local knowledge. The room, guest lounge, bathroom and kitchen were equipped with all that you need. Extra care had been given to provide extra touches to make you feel welcome. Great value. Very clean. And a very warm, pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommend Meyenburg House. We will be staying again.
This holiday destination is a true Gem for those traveling semi-rural around Qld. With picturesque surroundings, lovely gardens & a short walk into town it really has everything you could wish for. Excellent facilities and services brought to you by Proprietor Lizzy Hope. I called direct to find weekly booking fees super affordable. Highly recommended 5 *****
The host is freindly and responsive. Close to the town centre and 2 pubs. Probably best described as a commune, there are quite a few permanants set up. The tents aren't glamping tents, they're just run of the mill 3x3 tents, tarps strung over them. Ground isn't level and bedding was musty. Not pet friendly really as the house dogs are allowed to roam from front to back and aren't particularly friendly to other dogs. One of the house dogs barks at everything and doesn't stop.
