My Chevy dealership and the muffler shop down the street from me. Both said that the code my vehicle was throwing showed that I needed. The catalytic converter’s replaced$4800 at Chevy I asked Joe over at Mexican muffler and he said it might just be the O2 sensors. I did some searching and found that this was very common in the muffler industry to tell people they need the whole catalytic converter replaced because that’s about $3000 to $5000 . They digested the flex Pipe to the manifold, reworked it three times and never did it. They refused to return the money, saying that it was not their problem. Althotho it was necessary to just cut the size of the flex pipe and weld it in. I can't imagine what they cook if they didn't cope with the elementary work. Listen, I gave you an original part.
