Coming from somebody in the family... Okay... Well, my family owns the Mexico Mexican Restaurants, and as far as I know, our family has owned them the whole time. I have practically grown up there. I have been going there since I was born, and even before that, when my mom was working there while she was pregnant with me. 20+ years after throwing the dart When a Mexican family decided to open a restaurant in the United States in the late 1980s, they put a map of the US on the wall and threw a dart at it. The dart landed on Greensboro, NC, and the rest is history!
Great food I really enjoy the Mexico restaurant. The food is authentic, they certainly don't skimp on it and the service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is quite festive since they've remodeled and added the interesting tables and chairs. I would recommend the fajitas and the arroz con pollo. The prices are quite reasonable for the amount of food you receive.
Place to go for Sangria! This is a great Mexican restaurant, so much so that we will drive to it, passing by at least 5 other Mexican restaurants, because they have the best food. It is fresh and their chips and salsa have a nice balance. The decor is friendly and the staff are extrememly nice. Plus, the prices can't be beat for the quality of food.
