Fast service, good food...a little spicy for me, but good! Manager was nice. Food delivered fast and hot.
Great food and atmosphere at both Bradenton locations. Excellent chips and salsa, really enjoy the homemade flour chips and cheese queso. Wait staff has always been very attentive and nice on our visits.
Worst "mexican" food ever. Taco bell is far better – It was awful. The service was awful, the waitress kept disappearing and having other servers bring our drinksout and such and they got them wrong. If you have no idea what mexican food is and your idea of a good taco/burrito comes from taco bell you may like it. Although even then you'll probably be disappointed. Meat was awful, food was barely warm, there was no sauce on my "enchilada". What kind of enchilada has no sauce on it?!?!?
Cold Food! – We just returned from Mexicali Border Cafe (a slow Thursday night) and, I must say, I am perturbed. My wife’s food was cold. I would like to share with you the fine dinning experience my friend and I had last night at this restaurant. This was our first visit to this location. We were seated immediately, we choose the bar area. Our waitress was with us promptly and took our drink order. We ordered two Border Margaritas. My friend ordered Julio’s Create Your Own Enchiladas, and I the Verde Enchiladas. The food was excellent! The drinks were outstanding. The service was excellent. Best Tex-Mex in Bradenton – Have tried various dishes there, enchiladas are good and so are the burritos. The best appetizer is their layered dip with fried flour tortillas. Seating is quick and has typical Mexican atmosphere.
