Worst "mexican" food ever. Taco bell is far better – It was awful. The service was awful, the waitress kept disappearing and having other servers bring our drinksout and such and they got them wrong. If you have no idea what mexican food is and your idea of a good taco/burrito comes from taco bell you may like it. Although even then you'll probably be disappointed. Meat was awful, food was barely warm, there was no sauce on my "enchilada". What kind of enchilada has no sauce on it?!?!?
Cold Food! – We just returned from Mexicali Border Cafe (a slow Thursday night) and, I must say, I am perturbed. My wife’s food was cold. Best Tex-Mex in Bradenton – Have tried various dishes there, enchiladas are good and so are the burritos. The best appetizer is their layered dip with fried flour tortillas. Seating is quick and has typical Mexican atmosphere.
