Maybe I’ve just had bad luck but the 2 times I’ve utilized their MRI services, they rescheduled my appointments and didn’t offer anything reasonably close after. I get regular scans to monitor a brain tumor so it’s not something that can just wait. I typically get my MRIs in Boston through the hospital but my insurance wasn’t covering much and Metrowest MRI is more reasonably priced. BEST MRI in the area!!! This facility is not deceptive and will answer all questions. They reminded me several times before the call and confirmed coverage. They provide music and care and a changing room. Shields MRI just down the road on Rt. 9 is actually awful unlike Metrowest MRI. Shields scanned the WRONG knee when I went in 2019..... Metrowest has seen me 3X (i have bad luck ok), and has been stellar each and every time. I don't think I could disagree with the recent 1-star reviews more. Very friendly and professional staff Appointment finished on time and the place is immaculate.
The staff on-site is fantastic, especially Nancy! However, the overall service at MWMRI is terrible as follows: 1) They deceptively align themselves with MW Medical Center when they just rent shared space. 2) They outsource all scheduling to out-of-state and the process results in long phone waits upwards of 40 minutes! 3) Their original database has not been integrated to their new system so all my records of prior MRI are in limbo. 4) They have no clear process for receiving Faxed Referrals from a PCP and therefore I've sp... read more
