Worst emergency room experience I’ve ever had. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed and communication was nonexistent. Patients were left waiting for updates, call buttons went unanswered, and it felt like nobody cared that people were sitting there scared, sick, and needing help. An emergency room should make patients feel heard and cared for, not ignored and forgotten. The lack of compassion and professionalism was honestly shocking. I took my husband to ER as a fall left him badly bruised and swollen. Of course it happened to be worse over the weekend when our Drs office was closed. Feeling uneasy about his condition I reluctantly took him to what I thought may end in a lengthy wait. We were greeted at the door by security who were as professional and welcoming as he could be. I have been to this emergency room multiple times for different conditions I have. There have been some not so empathetic nurses that I've encountered, but the majority of them have been kind, cart and attentive when able. The physicians for the most part have had good bedside manner, communicated thoroughly and were understanding. Any ER will have not so nice staff members unfortunately, but overall my experiences have been pretty good.
