Booked a manicure and pedicure with my partner. My experience wasn't relaxing at all. Having them done at the same time felt rushed rather than enjoyable. Several staff members were speaking in another language while looking at us, pointing, and laughing. I was also asked if I wanted my eyebrows trimmed. Finally decided not to come here anymore. Woman had an issue with me trying 2 colours on my toes. She actually spoke under her breath in her language! They charge you $1 (plus tax!) for some items they use, but it's still a cheaper place, although their gel colour chips within 2-5 days. I really wish they would just concentrate on what they are doing to you rather than looking around and talking to other employees all the time. Booked here while on a layover and had another appointment in Metrotown Mall. They seated my partner and I for our services right away. Made fun of my male partner for wanting a manicure. Asked me multiple times to remove a manicure I had done elsewhere. At least 4 of the staff members were clearly making fun of our weight and tattoos and appearances, as they would actually point and laugh, another customer seated next to me was laughing with them and looking at us to see what they were talking about. This is my second disappointing experience at this salon, which is why I finally decided to leave a review. I had shellac nails done here less than a week ago, and the polish actually started chipping the very same evening. Within a few days, three nails had visibly chipped, so I went back to have them fixed. While I appreciated that they repaired those three nails, I also mentioned that I was concerned the rest would likely start chipping too.
