A horrific experience. Take your animal elsewhere!!! The woman named Jess, who checks you in, is apathetic and will treat you like human garbage. Jess was huffing and puffing before I checked in. During the first question of check-in (immediately after my cat was taken back - perhaps a minute), I found out that the $1200 total quote was an exam only - no treatment. This was not expained when provided the estimate, or I wouldn't have let them take my cat. This annoyed her terribly. Immediately, I kindly asked for my cat ba... read more
Greedy, poor customer service, and they aren't worth your time. I was referred to them by hively animal and a charge $104 for a consult over a 4 minute office visit. I told them before the visit that if the only option was chemotherapy then I wasn't going to come. They could have looked at the xray immediately after I sent over the records that the tumor was inoperable. In fact, he told me that he couldn't do surgery on any of those tumors. My dog has anal sack cancer and they could have told me over the phone that they cou... read more
My beautiful Abyssinian girl, Abby, was ruined by this facility. Thousands of dollars and many tears later, after being killed by Metro almost 3 times, I got my girl back. I'm sitting with her right now on my deck, and watching my once vibrant, regal and highly intelligent and playful animal wag her tail nonsensically back and forth. Abby can barely stand because she's so weak from the trauma she endured at Metro, an experience that has caused neurological difficulties, brain damage. They referred to cutting her vein during ... read more

Our dog received the best care here. Possum is an older Border Collie that displaced her hip. Dr. Applewhite patiently walked us through our options and answered our many questions with kindness and empathy. Possum has made a full recovery due to the excellent services of this great doctor and staff. I urge anyone with an animal in need of special care to go to this practice. They were more than worth the 1 1/2 hour drive from Lexington.
Friendly service, but no concern for anyones time, I had a appointment, and they made me wait over 2 hours before seeing my dog. Then spent the entire rest of the day waiting on them. I have been in their parking lot 5+ hours now, and still waiting. The procedure took less than an hour.
lousy car. arrogant ,cold, rude. lie about pricing. heartless. have dr. smith been to the snip clinic or are reindeer antlers implanted? will not return calls.
