Technician Robert J. arrived early here in South Portland to repair my "brand new" Frigidaire refrigerator, (still under warranty) which was not cooling the lower fridge portion AT ALL. Ended up qualifying for new replacement. Fantastic Service! Raves for Robert J. and Metropolitan.
Had Metropolitan services come to fix my non-working Bosch range. Robert, the technician, was very efficient and professional. Diagnosed the problem, ordered parts and came back a week later to install. Not inexpensive, but neither are new appliances. Highly recommend.
My 4 year old Thermador range was makjg a very loud noise whenever we used the oven. - something to do with the fan. In addition, one of the burners stopped working. Enter Robert, who decided to try some adjustments to the fan thinking it was possibly loose, not broken. Problem solved. He tightened some things up, and the issue was fixed. He ordered the parts for the broken igniter on my stove and returned a couple of weeks later to fix it. Total cost for all was less than $500. Though I was initially told it would take a week for a service call, a technician came in 48 hours, as there was a cancellation. Rob was friendly, efficient, knew what he was doing, and solved the problem without billing me for the actual "fix" because he was not convinced it had been a permanent fix. He also advised me how to fix a second faulty appliance (which another service company had told me, incorrectly, was unfixable). Excellent! They know and understand Miele and Fisher Paykal, Bosch products. Their membership offering is really a good deal- lower hourly rate and quicker repair turnaround. I've owned my house for 12 years and while great appliances- over time, they get worn down with use. They have repaired, at one time of another, the refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, gas stove top, wine cooler, washing machine/dryer. Professional and excellent product and repair knowledge!
