The staff are friendly and the waterpark is great. Other than those two things this hotel is not great. The beds are hard as rocks and itchy (assuming from whatever detergent they use). There is no continental breakfast, you have to purchase breakfast from the restaurant… there are no healthy food options available at the front desk where you can buy food. I booked Metropolis on 08-07-2025 to 08-10-2025 for my 2nd sons 16th bday and my youngest daughter 4th bday right at check in I was greeted promptly with a smile and what made the experience better is that I was put on the 1st floor having kids I know they run a lot so I’m appreciative that metropolis had me on the 1st floor so my kids would not be bothering customers who are below. Great value for the price and tons of fun. I prefer this to any Dells experience. We did one night midweek and wish we would’ve stayed longer. We pre-purchased jump and play passes and with the $25 arcade credit per person it was worth it to us. Loved everything start to finish. Midweek the hours of attractions do vary and the full waterpark wasn’t open but they are transparent about it and clear with their hours, so book accordingly. Metropolis is a fun, family friendly, easy to navigate resort that offers a variety of things for all ages. We've stayed 5 nights and have never any issues. They even have pet friendly rooms. The staff are amazing and very friendly too! We'd rather stay here than a resort in the WI Dells
