I used Metroplis Parking(in Houston)1 time back in December 2023..Fast forward to 2026. On June 4th & July 9th, I received text notifications stating my vehicle had just entered the Metropolis parking lot, Embassy Suites SAT. Both times my vehicle was and is parked in MY garage. I immediately called. The customer service agent I spoke to, stated the vehicle that entered the parking lot has the same personalized license plate as mine. Difference, my plate is TEXAS plate. I don’t have an issue with Metropolis, but I do with one of their managers. She was rude and disrespectful, pointed her finger at me and honestly she should get fired.
$27+ for an hour, dinner ran over, paid another,$27+. Over estimated your time when first checking out, 2 hrs would have been the same price as 1 hr. Needless to $27 to park is insane!
One of the Pay Machines doesn't work, stuck on "Insert Credit Card" no matter of left in (Chip) or quickly removed (Swipe), doesn't feel like it's being read by anything. The other one... doesn't exist! It's just the same QR codes posted everywhere. Decided to hunt for street parking instead. International myself so I'm hoping to get no ticket for trying to pay and being unable to.
