The addition of Metro parking has turned this lot into a parking scam. It’s now $10/day to park here, and if you need to extend your time then it’s very difficult. We called the help number and the lady was incredibly rude and dismissive. If you have to park here, take a picture of the QR code sign in case you need to extend your time. We won’t be riding Amtrak out of Richmond anymore because of the addition of Metro parking.
Ample available longer term parking available. Download the park mobile app to pay for your spot when you arrive, there is also a pay station near the Amtrak entrance on the right, it’s a small kiosk. To avoid any delays again I’d recommend downloading the app. -1 star because before I came i was quoted at $7/day, upon arrival it was $8.
